In my first semester of studying BUSN5001 – Blockchain and Distributed Ledger Technologies, I embarked on an incredible journey that opened my eyes to the fascinating world of blockchain and NFTs. Initially, I had zero knowledge about these concepts, but under the guidance of our exceptional lecturer, I discovered a whole new realm of possibilities. From creating wallets to participating in a Million Dollar NFT project, and even contributing to a collaborative book, this experience has been nothing short of transformative. From day one, our lecturer skillfully guided us through the fundamental concepts of blockchain technology. We learned about its decentralized nature, immutability, and security features. Building on this foundation, we delved into the realm of digital wallets and experienced the thrill of creating our own. It was a pivotal moment for me when I realized that I was becoming a part of this cutting-edge technology that has the potential to reshape various industries.

Perhaps one of the most exhilarating aspects of this course was the opportunity to explore Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs). While I had heard about NFTs before, I never imagined that I would be able to create one myself. Participating in the Million Dollar NFT project was a game-changer. It opened my eyes to the incredible worth people’s place on digital art and showed me how blockchain technology is transforming the art world. This project was all about unleashing our creativity, thinking outside the box, and working together as a team. With my classmates by my side, we combined our unique perspectives to create a collection of NFTs that perfectly embodied our shared vision. It was an exhilarating experience that left me truly amazed.

Finally, the hands-on experiences and the opportunity to work alongside my classmates were invaluable, helping me grow both personally and professionally. This course has sparked a genuine passion within me for the world of blockchain and NFTs, and I am excited to see how this technology continues to evolve and shape our future.
